He began his journey as a Neighborhood Policing officer, where he worked closely with residents to foster trust and safety in the community. His career path then led him to the role of a Homicide investigator, where his keen investigative skills contributed to solving some of the city’s most challenging cases. Tillery also served as a Public Information Officer, effectively communicating crucial information to the public and media.

In his final role, Tillery was a valued member of the Executive Security Unit at City Hall, where his expertise played a crucial part in ensuring the safety and security of city officials and events.
