Tragedy struck early Monday in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago’s South Side when an unidentified young man was shot to death. The Chicago Police Department received a report of gunfire at approximately 2 a.m., and upon their arrival at the 5600 block of South Throop Street, they discovered a victim with a fatal gunshot wound to the eye. The age of the deceased is believed to be between 18 and 22 years old, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
