Thousands of baby oysters are growing in the Baltimore Harbor in Maryland’s largest public oyster garden at Lighthouse Point Marina. Dozens of volunteers with the Great Baltimore Oyster Partnership hung 100 cages filled with baby oysters, also called spat, over the dock to safely grow to maturity over the next nine months.
