CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) – The Coast Guard rescued a woman and two dogs Sunday after they became stranded on Bay Point Island, according to a release. The Coast Guard said they received a notification at 5:15 p.m. from a Good Samaritan who rescued a 60-year-old man from the water. The man was wearing a lifejacket, officials said.
