HOMEWOOD, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A suspect is charged with making a terroristic threat on social media toward Homewood High School last week.
An announcement sent out Monday by Principal Joel Henneke stated the threat, posted on Instagram, was made by someone with no association with Homewood City Schools.
“While we believe there is no credible threat to our school, please know that our school
resource officers will remain vigilant and alert to any unusual activity, as student and
staff safety is our top priority,” Henneke stated in the release.
