The Henrico County Department of Social Services will host a job fair Sept. 23 at the Fairfield Area Library to fill vacant eligibility worker positions.
The fair will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the library, located at 1401 North Laburnum Avenue. The event is free and open to the public, and attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interviews for the available positions.
Eligibility workers are responsible for assisting residents in applying for and receiving public benefits, such as food assistance, medical coverage, and financial assistance. The department is offering salaries of between $55,000 and $75,000 annually for the positions.
