Smashburger, the fast-casual eatery known for its “smashed to order” burgers, has closed its last remaining location in Tallahassee.

The Village Square Boulevard location was the third and last one to shutter in the capital; the others had been on Magnolia Drive (in the Magnolia Grove shopping center) and on West Tennessee Street. Representatives from the chain could not be immediately reached for comment.

The Denver, Colorado-based burger franchise made its debut in 2015 at The Village Commons. The company’s website now has removed the Tallahassee location from its website and it’s listed as “permanently closed” on Google.

With over 200 storefronts remaining, the nearest Smashburger now is 121 miles away in Destin. The restaurant offers several different specialty smashburgers to pair with its crispy fires and hand spun milkshakes.

Patrons reacted to the news on the foodie social media group, Tallahassee Foodies. One user said, “Oh man! Glad I went in there the other day!”
