CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – The Chrome Horse Saloon, in NewBo, will close on Sept 28, the owners announced in a Facebook post Monday. The bar has been open since 2003. In the social media post, the owners said the Chrome Horse’s history is one of a fight to stay open.
