SCOTTSBORO, Ala. (WHNT) — The Scottsboro Police Department (SPD) says a man died in the hospital following a car wreck Saturday.
According to SPD, officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of US Hwy 72 and Walmart. Officers said they found three people involved in the crash. Two were taken to Highlands Medical Center, and the other was treated for minor injuries.
SPD said Steve Combs, 68, of Trenton, Georgia, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
