The Pearl Fire is burning northwest of Fort Collins near the Crystal Lakes subdivision.
Evacuations have been ordered in the area.
The Pearl Fire is burning about 5 miles northwest of Red Feather Lakes, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office. The area is about an hour northwest of Fort Collins.
Firefighting aircraft have been making drops on the blaze, whose flames are visible from multiple outlook cameras in the area.
