At a police department in one North Carolina city, a very spoiled and beloved cat calls all the shots. The cat named Ashe has become the lifeline for those on the other end of the line answering emergency calls. Ashe is now part of the telecommunicator family. But her story wasn’t always so bright, as she was found abandoned in the Hendersonville Police Department’s parking lot during the 2023 Apple Festival. The festival is off Ashe Street, hence her purr-fect name.
