Lubbock police asking for help locating missing person believed to be in danger

Lubbock police are asking the public for help locating a missing man they believe to be in danger.

According to LPD, officers received a report of a missing person at 3:53 p.m. Monday. Officers were reportedly given information leading them to believe the missing person, 54-year-old Elmo Minjarez, Jr., may be in danger.

Minjarez is described as having brown hair and brown eyes, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen on Monday near the 1800 block of East Colgate Street.

According to police, Minjarez was entered into a national database as a Missing Person-Endangered.
