LUBBOCK, Texas — One person had serious injuries and another had moderate injuries in a crash involving two vehicles on Monday, the Lubbock Police Department said.

The crash occurred at 4:43 p.m. in the 6200 block of Southeast Drive, LPD confirmed.
An LBK Alert said traffic from East Loop 289 to Southeast Drive will be closed to drivers in the area. The northbound Loop 289 exit was also closed. The person with serious injuries was transported to University Medical Center by EMS. LPD said the area was opened back up to traffic.
