AMSTERDAM, N.Y. ( NEWS10 ) — The City of Amsterdam announced the upcoming closure of a portion of Steadwell Avenue for road work. The northbound lane of Steadwell Avenue will be closed from Guy Park Avenue to Golf Course Road starting at 7 a.m. on September 17.

The road will be closed until construction is complete. The emergency room entrance at St. Mary’s Hospital will still be accessible via Guy Park Avenue.
No traffic will be allowed through the work zone. Drivers are advised to seek alternate routes.
