This study, done by Rocket Moving, looked at all 50 states to find out which ones people are happiest to stay in.
It considered factors like migration patterns, happiness scores, quality of life, cost of living, and average rent.
The researchers gathered data from the U.S. Census and World Population Review, then calculated the total migration rates for each state over one year to create their rankings.
