Rochester, N.Y. – Sky watchers who longed to see the stunning northern lights Monday night in New York were not disappointed. The aurora borealis paid a visit to Upstate New York overnight, delighting stargazers who feared the nearly-full harvest supermoon might outshine the northern lights. The aurora colored skies in Geneseo, Rochester, Bolton Landing and beyond in a rainbow of pulsing neon shades.
