SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCSC) -Summerville Medical Center will now be able to care for more newborns than ever before with its opening of a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The medical center announced that it has earned its license to provide this specialized care, something representatives for the hospital say they have been working toward for the past decade as they strive to meet the needs of a growing community.
