The south end of Augusta Road (near Mauldin Road + Potomac Avenue) is getting a “village-style retail center” called Augusta Gateway , which promises “a modern community with neighborhood convenience.”
What to expect
The development will feature six stand-alone buildings, including a ~23,000-sqft anchor tenant space, which developers say is perfect for a boutique grocery, hardware store, or entertainment venue.
With 207 parking spaces, the shopping center aims to be a “park-once destination,” giving shoppers access to food, retail, and other businesses all in one area.
