MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA)-This Saturday, Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, the Montgomery Police Department, and the City of Montgomery are hosting a gun buyback event. This anonymous gun buyback event will take place on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the parking lot of True Divine Baptist Church, located at 4601 Troy Highway in Montgomery. People who surrender guns at this event will receive $50 for any rifle or shotgun, $100 for any functioning handgun, and $200 for a semi-automatic rifle.
