BOUTTE, La. ( WGNO ) — Two teenagers were hospitalized after a shooting in St. Charles Parish on Monday, Sept. 16.
According to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office, around 8:30 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a shooting in Boutte at the corner of Lily and Pine streets.

Upon arrival, two teenage boys were found. One had been shot in the hand while the other suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was airlifted to a hospital where he was listed in serious condition.
Further details aren’t available at this time. Deputies are in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect and motive.
