ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eva Krakowski of Southern Illinois Women’s Volleyball was named the Missouri Valley Conference Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday. A native of Roselle, Ill., Krakowski put together the best week of her freshman campaign, tallying 17 kills & eight blocks in the win over UT Martin on Tuesday. She followed that up with another 10 kills at Lindenwood on Saturday, the first time she posted back-to-back games with double-digit kills.
