Pedestrian left with life-threatening injuries after Tampa crash

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries when they were hit by a car on Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa on Tuesday.

The crash happened at 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of West Hillsborough Ave. and North Habana Ave., according to Tampa police.

Police said the pedestrian was crossing outside of a designated crosswalk and was struck by a driver turning east onto Hillsborough Ave. They were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
