CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (Iowa’s News Now) – A flight filled with nearly 90 veterans heads to Washington D.C. Tuesday morning from Cedar Rapids. The 52nd Eastern Iowa Honor Flight took off at 7:15 am and will return around 9 pm with veterans who served in WWII, Korea, Vietnam, the Gulf War as well as non-combat veterans.
