OWENSBORO, Ky. (WEVV) – City of Owensboro will seek out millions of dollars from federal government to fund building affordable rental housing in the city. According to the agenda for Tuesday’s Owensboro Board of Commissioners meeting, the board will consider a municipal order to authorize applying for seven million dollars from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to build the affordable homes.
