WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Cheney Lake is eight feet below normal, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, reaching a historic low at 56.96% of its conversation pool. Last week, Mayor Lily Wu said the City of Wichita expects Cheney to reach just over 55% of the conservation pool next month.
