Drone show to light up Hammons Field

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. — Forget Friday night fireworks, the Springfield Cardinals are bringing the future to Hammons Field when they host their first-ever drone show. The drone show will be held after the playoff game on Thursday, September 19.

On Thursday at 6:35 p.m., the Springfield Cardinals will host game two of the Texas League North Division Championship round. Immediately after the game, SkyGlow Drones will light up the night sky with a drone show.

Fire departments preparing early for spring flood season

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. It will also be Thirsty Thursday, with drink specials all night. Tickets for Thursday’s game against the Arkansas Travelers are now available. Ticket prices start at $11.

For the second year in a row, the Springfield Cardinals have won the Texas League North Division First-Half title and are returning to the Texas League Playoffs. Hammons Field could host up to four games this postseason.
