An inflation of bicycle thefts has occurred on Missouri State’s campus within the past month, sparking discussions about campus safety among students, teachers and security. E-bikes and e-scooters have proven to be the most susceptible to theft. In an email from Missouri State’s safety dispatch to students and staff, seven of the incidents reported since Aug. 10 involved one of these two types of transportation.
