WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) – A plan is in the works to turn a La Quinta Inn located in West Palm Beach into a temporary housing unit that could offer 114 rooms. The Palm Beach County’s Community Services Department has asked the Board of County Commissioners for permission to begin negotiations to purchase the La Quinta Inn property, which they approved on Tuesday morning.
