Highway 99E: ODOT’s paving project has finish line in sight

Oh, things are getting interesting along Highway 99E in Canby – completion interesting.

ODOT just released another update on the project that indicated all work to reconstruct the right-hand lanes throughout downtown will be completed by Tuesday morning, Sept. 17.

In addition, traffic signals and intersections through downtown Canby will reopen and work requiring shifting traffic to one side of the highway will be complete.

Some paving remains, including between Pine Street and the railroad tracks, and the Berg Parkway intersection. Expect one lane to be closed in one or both directions during this work.

ODOT said that they are on schedule to complete all major elements of this project in October.

Completed paving sections:
