JANESVILLE, Wis. — A social media threat against schools was determined to not be credible Janesville PD said Monday morning.
School District of Janesville said the threat referenced schools in Rock and Dane County and the threats appear to be part of a “threat wave,” where multiple schools receive the same or very similar messages and are a repeat of threats circulated last week in Minnesota, Ohio, and several other states.
The School District advised families if they see/hear something inappropriate say something to a trusted adult, or use the p3 tips app on your mobile device to report anonymously.
