Homeless encampment cleared off city property by Gainesville Police

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – Homeless people living behind Grace Marketplace were told to relocate by the Gainesville Police Department (GPD). People said city staff used bulldozers and dump trucks to force them out on Tuesday without warning. Those who had tents set up and personal belongings there were not happy with the way they were kicked out.
