This weekend at Buffalo Springs Lake, just 15-munutes east of Lubbock, it’s the ‘King of the Grill’ BBQ Cookoff’ and the deadline for registration has been extended!. The best part of these competitions at the lake is that I get to see all my BBQ buddies, I get to judge (and sample) GREAT food all day long, and I do it all from the comfort of my golf cart with the attached cooler full of ice-cold beer! I mean, the camping area where everyone sets up is literally 300 yards from my front door. It’s fantastic!
