JANESVILLE, Wis. — 4 Janesville businesses were cited for selling alcohol to minors after a compliance check by the Janesville Police Department.
The checks are conducted by having an 18-20 year old attempt to purchase alcohol from a business. If the underage person is allowed to purchase, the clerk is cited for selling the alcohol. The information is also forwarded to the City of Janesville Alcohol Licensing Committee for their review.
Here were the four businesses that were cited:
- Citgo Quick Mart (404 N. Parker Dr)
- TA Express (3222 Humes Rd)
- Hy-Vee (2500 Humes Rd)
- Five Point Beverage (600 W. Milwaukee St)
