The Plano Police Department is commemorating the service and sacrifice of one of their own, Lieutenant Earnest “Earnie” Oldham, whose end of watch came on September 16, 2021, after battling complications from COVID-19. Lt. Oldham, badge number 1333, began his tenure with the department on January 27, 1992, and before that, served with the Garland Police Department starting in October 1987. The respected officer’s legacy was one of dedication to the community he vowed to protect and serve.
