Beverly Crider, on a mission to step foot in every state park in South Carolina, said she saved the best for last. One day in July, the 77-year-old Columbia resident steered her trusty Subaru Forester through the canopy of trees to the ocean at Myrtle Beach State Park, where her son Troy Crider is the park manager.
