Theatre legend Bernadette Peters will ring in the New Year alongside the Boston Pops orchestra with a special December 31 concert, held at 8 PM at Symphony Hall. Tony winner Peters last performed with the Boston Pops in 2019. Her New Year’s Eve set will include songs from Stephen Sondheim, Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, Jerry Herman, and numerous other Broadway favorites. Troy Quinn will lead the orchestra in the first half of the concert, while Peters’ music director Joseph Thalken will conduct the second half of the program and accompany her on the piano.
