CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCSC) – The National Hurricane Center is watching two areas, one of which could have an effect on weather in the Lowcountry next week. The first area, the closest to the southeast, is a broad area of low pressure in the northwestern Caribbean Sea which could form late this weekend or early next week into at least a tropical depression.
