Time ran out. …..Time ran out before the Redemption Earned staff was able to extricate Mr. Street from the unsafe conditions of the Alabama Department of Corrections. He was honorably discharged from the US Army where he served as a HAWK missile team crewmember and was awarded the Army Achievement Medal for his outstanding service. After serving his country for more than 8 years, Mr. Street was violently assaulted and robbed in Virginia. The unprovoked attack led to a traumatic brain injury that left him in a coma for three months and ultimately in a wheelchair.
