Minneapolis encampment shooting leaves 1 dead, another injured

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – An early morning shooting at a Minneapolis homeless encampment on Wednesday left one person dead and another injured, according to police. Police responded to a ShotSpotter notification around 4:40 a.m., which detected four shots had been fired near an alley on the 2600 block of 17th Avenue South.
