A woman was found dead at approximately 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 18, following a hit-and-run crash in the Madison South Neighborhood.
Portland Police Bureau responded to reports of a women lying in the road near Northeast 85th Avenue and Northeast Fremont Street. Upon arrival, she was found dead and her injuries were consistent with being hit by a car that was no longer in the area.
The vehicle is described to be a 1992-1997 Ford F250 with a SuperCab, diesel engine, and is teal and white in color.
