Juvenile injured after hit-and-run in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) – A boy was injured Wednesday morning after being hit by a car that then fled the area, according to the Montgomery Police Department. MPD said at about 7:23 a.m., police and fire medics responded to the 100 block of Federal Drive, in the area of Capitol Heights Middle School, regarding a person being struck by a vehicle. On the scene, police found a boy who had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The boy was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
