Indianapolis Uber driver ‘raped and killed passenger’ after she insulted his body in ‘revolting’ attack

An Uber driver from Indianapolis has been arrested by police , accused of raping and subsequently murdering a passenger.

Francisco Valadez, 29, was taken into custody by homicide detectives on Tuesday morning and has been provisionally charged with murder.

Valadez confessed to the police that he shot 30-year-old Chanti Dixon dead in a fit of anger after attempting to rape her in the back of his car, having picked her up as an Uber driver , according to CBS4.com.

He then admitted to disposing of her body in an alleyway within a wooded area close to the victim’s residence. Last week, police were called to Wagner Lane following the discovery of a woman’s body in a nearby woodland.

Dixon’s family managed to locate her phone in the woods behind her home , where they discovered her body and alerted the police. Dixon had been shot in the left side of her head and was declared dead at the scene.
