Fayetteville doesn’t have a food hall – yet. A new mixed-use development aims to change that

What could be Fayetteville’s first food hall will be part of Midtown at Coalition, a mixed-use development under construction at the Military Business Park at the intersection of Santa Fe Drive and the All American Freeway.

The plans for the location also include 312 residential units, according to a Facebook post by Patrick Murray of Grant-Murray Real Estate, the company handling the development alongside Truong Properties, which owns the property. The 11,675-square-foot food hall, expected to open in the second quarter of 2026 at Bridgehead Circle and Coalition Boulevard in the Military Business Park, is just outside the gates of Fort Liberty.

In an email to The Fayetteville Observer, Murray said the vendors are still to be determined. The goal, he said, is to curate a mix of eateries most wanted by customers and with a track record of success.

“We have a lengthy list of interested prospects, ” he said.

The Forge food hall

According to its rental listing , the ground-floor of The Forge food hall will have four food vendor stalls, “each designed to accommodate diverse food concepts,” with space sizes beginning at 691 square feet and lease rates from $1,250 to $5,400 a month. There will be a communal seating area and an outdoor dining space. The second floor “is envisioned as a lively brewery space,” with another vendor stall, expansive bar and additional seating, including a second covered outdoor dining area. The food hall lease rate includes utilities like HVAC, kitchen ventilation, grease traps and Wi-Fi. Construction is slated for completion between 2025 and 2026.
