Ward 2 candidates pledge to work for constituents if elected

JACKSON, Miss. – Candidates for a vacant seat on the Jackson City Council spoke to constituents Tuesday about what they hope to do for their community. The Oct. 1 Ward 2 election will fill the seat left open by the resignation of Angelique Lee, who is awaiting sentencing after pleading guilty to charges related to a federal bribery investigation.
