JERSEY CITY, NJ —Jersey City Medical Center, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, recently received a special visit from clinicians and researchers from SPARC, a three-month global entrepreneurship program with Israel’s Sheba Medical Center and ARC Innovation Center (Accelerate, Redesign, and Collaborate) partners such as The Global School of Entrepreneurship by ARC.

Approximately 25 participants from SPARC visited Jersey City Medical Center where they toured the medical center, gave a presentation, and met with hospital leadership and clinicians including Michael Prilutsky, Executive Vice President of RWJBarnabas Health’s Northeast Region and President and Chief Executive Officer of Jersey City Medical Center; Ije Akunyili, MD, MBA, MPA, Chief Medical Officer; Richard H. Savel, MD, MBA, FCCM, Chair of the Department of Medicine; Schubert Perotte, MD, Chairman and Medical Director of the Department of Emergency Medicine; and Margaret Ames, DNP, MPA, RN, NEA-BC, Chief Nursing Officer and Vice President of Patient Care Services.
