Native Coffee opens in Springfield
When Gavin Burkhead graduated college, he knew he wanted to start his own business. Now, as a young adult, he owns his coffee stand in Springfield: Native Coffee. With his parents, Matt and Miranda Burkhead, as his business partners, Gavin is quickly and conveniently bringing local flavors to his customers.
Gavin has close to five years of experience working in coffee, from his time as a Starbucks barista to his work at local coffee shops during college. He’s lived in Springfield since he was six months old and said he now wants to give back to the community that raised him.
