National Cheeseburger Day is Wednesday, September 18th. Many Floridians know that eating burgers isn’t always the healthiest choice, but we’re talking about a national holiday that often means freebies and discounts.
Some Florida fast-food chains are celebrating that holiday by offering freebies and discounts. However, there is some fine print you should be aware of, which I’ll discuss below.
Burger King: On the 18th, Burger King is offering a cheeseburger with a purchase of $1 or more. Note that you need to be a Royal Perks member to enjoy these offerings and membership is free.

McDonald’s: McDonald’s cheeseburger promotion is limited to one day, but free fries are ongoing. On September 18th, customers can get .50 double cheeseburgers. And the free fries on Fridays promotion is still ongoing (with a $1 minimum purchase.)
There are 870 McDonald’s stores in Florida.
Wendy’s: On September 18th, Florida patrons can get a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for a penny with any additional purchase.
