POOLER, Ga. (WSAV) – Authorities responded to an overturned semi-truck that caused major delays on Interstate 16 Wednesday morning.
It happened around 7 a.m. between Interstate 95 and Dean Forest Road.
According to the Pooler Police Department, the truck overturned in the median and at one point, affected both east and westbound lanes on the interstate.
The driver is OK, police said, and there were no major injuries to report.
According to the Georgia Department of Transportation, the roadway was clear shortly before 11 a.m.
