From Tech to Manufacturing: Georgia Feels the Sting of Diverse Industry Cutbacks
Unfortunately, the layoffs continue in Georgia, with another business announcing mass layoffs.
Under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act, employers with more than 100 full-time workers must provide a 60-day notice before laying off 50 or more employees at a single site. This week, Panera lodged a notice have been with the Georgia Department of Labor advising that 86 staff have been laid off.

- Atlanta Attachment Company: Laying off 57 staff in Lawrenceville.
- Chemical Products Corporation: 122 job cuts in Cartersville.
- ZF Active Safety: Eliminating 365 positions in Flowery Branch.
