A ‘tail’ of survival: Arizona dog impaled, disemboweled by fence survives and finds ‘furever’ home

PHOENIX – An Arizona dog who was found impaled and disemboweled by a fence in July now has a “furever home” in Buckeye. AHS’ Dispatch Team responded to a call from Phoenix police about a dog that attempted to climb a wire fence and impaled himself doing so in late July. Technicians who arrived at the scene found 2-year-old Shepherd mix Junum with a large laceration to the abdomen with his intestines coming out of his body, AHS said.
